An unforgettable meeting !

On Tuesday, May 21st , our class met 2 Australian people : Andrew and his daughter, Lily. Andrew and Lily live in Byron Bay in Australia.
Andrew and Lily :
Lily is 15 years old, she has one little sister, her name is Ella, and a dog. It’s her first time in France. She can speak French a little. Her mother is a henna artist.
She would like to become an orthodentist or a make-up artist.
Lily has ever seen whales, kangaroos, emus, and she has already seen big spiders and snakes in her garden !
Andrew is 41, he is a History and Geography teacher. He visited France in 1996 but he can’t speak French very well. He likes French bakery.
Their school :
It’s very different from our school because it’s designed in the shape of a nautilus shell ; their school is near the beach. At lunch, they eat sandwiches and they eat outside. The students can practise many activities such as dance, surfing, yoga, circus,... They also have sewing and cooking lessons. The pupils start at 9 and they finish at 3.25 pm.
The weather in Australia
Andrew said there are only 2 seasons : the « rainy » season and the « dry » season. In the north of Australia, the weather is tropical. Lily was cold in Tournan because in Australia, temperatures are warmer than in France.
It was an unforgettable meeting !
